BOIL WATER NOTICE
Corbet Water Supply has issued a BOIL Water NOTICE to Plant 4 Customers.
Includes: Richland, Wortham, Pisque Ridge, Zip Codes 76681, 76693 areas.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has Required the system to notify all Route #4 Customers to BOIL water prior to consumption. This action is necessary because of the water pressure loss due to Extreme Cold causing a line break. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and Ice Maker’s should be boiled and cooled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, Water Company officials will notify you.
